Winter Knitting
When it's cold, I just wanna knit something. And I knitted this one this year. My iPad cover. Its width became wider because of the flower motif. If I wash it, it might shrink, I guessed like this, but it didn't happen. Each side has a different color. I usually use this as a mat of my device, putting on the desk, then never mind my size....
Syracuse became colder, that's why I want to start a new project like sweater. This flower motif was in the free pattern of Drops, yarn company. If you wanna knit something, try their site so that you can find easily what you wanna try. And yarns are available at any size, any kinds, and their price is not too much. Isn't it good? We don't need to be afraid of our failure... just have fun and it will warm you up! 🤗
なんだか凄く寒くなってきたというか、暑い日は暖房がガンガン入るのに、寒くなった途端、暖房が入らなくなる部屋に住んでるので、超寒いです。大家さんのせいではないと思ってるので、取り敢えず耐えてます。アメリカはセントラルヒーティングで、建物全体に暖房が入るのですが、個人でコントロール出来ません。(出来る所もあります。) とにかく寒いので編み物したくなってきました。上の写真は余り物の毛糸で編んだ私のiPadのカバーです。リンクのドロップスという毛糸屋さんがフリーのパターンを沢山提供しているので、日本語はないけれど、図を見て分かる方には楽しいサイトです。毛糸も結構安く手に入るので、失敗を恐れずトライしてみては如何がでしょうか？
